Accessibility
What Tap & Pop supports today
A clear account of the accessibility features verified for Tap & Pop, how to turn them on, and the limits that remain — especially for VoiceOver and Voice Control during bubble play.
Supported features
These features are available in Tap & Pop for the common tasks of choosing a mode, playing, pausing, adjusting settings, and browsing themes:
-
Reduced Motion Fewer animations, no screen shake or particle bursts when Reduce Motion is on. The game stays readable with fades and static states.
-
Dark Interface Tap & Pop uses a dark Neon Lagoon interface by design so play and menus stay comfortable in low light.
-
Differentiate Without Color Alone Modes, specials, and status use text, shapes, and glyphs — not color alone — so meaning holds when color is harder to see.
-
Sufficient Contrast Primary and supporting text meet contrast targets on the dark surfaces used throughout the game shell.
How to enable Reduced Motion
On your iPhone or iPad
- Open Settings.
- Tap Accessibility, then Motion.
- Turn on Reduce Motion.
Inside Tap & Pop
- Open Settings from the home screen.
- Turn on Reduce motion.
- The switch also follows your device Reduce Motion setting when you change it on the device.
Known limits
Primary bubble-popping play uses a canvas touch surface and is not currently fully playable with VoiceOver or Voice Control. Menu chrome such as Settings and mode labels is improving, but you cannot complete a full game by targeting individual bubbles with those features today.
Tap & Pop does not yet declare support for Larger Text, Captions, or Audio Descriptions. There is no spoken narrative or video that needs captions.
Privacy
Tap & Pop is offline-first. No ads, no account, no in-app purchases, and no data collection for advertising. Preferences stay on your device. See the Privacy Policy for the full statement.
